Job Description:
oDesign fixtures, gages, and tooling to support the manufacturing process for aerospace hardware.
oUtilize Siemens NX to create tooling designs and blueprints.
oCollaborate with the manufacturing engineering team on project development and investigations related to tooling.
oAssess tooling builds for internal production or outsourcing to tooling vendors; interact with tooling vendors as needed.
oWork closely with the manufacturing engineering team to incorporate design changes or specificationsProcess Improvement:
oDrive continuous process improvement initiatives, adhering to safe work practices.
oImplement measures to reduce costs, enhance quality, and increase throughput for both new and existing processes.
oMaintain tooling blueprint storage location in compliance with customer policies and proceduresSupport and Collaboration:
oProvide support on the shop floor.
oAssist in the Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processBasic
Qualifications:
oBachelor's degree and 2 or more years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or quality environment; or an Associate's degree and 4 or more years of experience in such fields; or in lieu of a degree, 6 or more years of relevant experience.
oProven experience in cross-functional project work.
oProficiency in 3D modeling/drafting software, with preference given to experience with Siemens NX.
oFamiliarity with Microsoft Office software, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
oUnderstanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

Qualifications:
oBachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
o2 or more years of experience as a tool designer.
oAbility to apply and interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
oGreen Belt Certified.
